At the hands of a hard-working family from Russia, SAN Forestry Ltd. planted its roots in 1988, in the small town of Plamondon, Alberta. At the time of its inception, the company consisted of three people; a father and his two sons.

Today, SAN Forestry has grown into one of Canada's 10 largest logging contractors, harvesting over 800,000 cubic meters of timber per year. In addition to harvesting, SAN Forestry has evolved their operations to include mulching and aggregate services, oilfield construction services, and a complete log hauling division. Their ability to grow to meet the demands of the fast paced industries they serve is a true testament to their experience, expertise and customer commitment.
