In recognition of the company's environment standards and safety and professional practices, SAN Forestry has received Al-Pac's Logging Contractor Achievement Award on four separate occasions.

SAFETY and COMPLIANCE

SAN Forestry is committed to upholding the highest environmental and safety practices. As members of Canqual, ISNetworld and Complyworks, they voluntarily submit their conformance records which are then verified and published for public record. SAN Forestry also conducts regular drug and alcohol testing for all employees as part of its safety program. The company also holds a current Certificate of Recognition (COR) as part of the Workers' Compensation Board of Alberta's Partners in Injury Reduction (PIR) program. The COR is in recognition of SAN Forestry's commitment to injury prevention and the development of effective workplace health, safety and disability management systems. SAN Forestry also adheres to the Occupational Health and Safety guidelines of Worksafe BC, as a qualified contractor in this province.
