SAN Forestry Ltd. was founded by Stephen Kuznetsov and his two sons, Arseny and Nik Kuznetsov. Based out of Plamondon, Alberta, the trio established San Forestry Ltd. in 1988, after working as tree planters to supplement their farming income. This small town business quickly emerged as a major player in a big time industry after landing a contract with Alberta- Pacific Forest Industries (Al-PAC) to harvest over 180,000 cubic meters of timber. This marked the beginning of a company whose strong work ethic and commitment to quality customer service would root their name as leaders in the forestry industry.
