Heavy Equipment Operators are responsible for operating heavy equipment such as excavators, graders, tractors, backhoes, and front-end loaders. You will need to be able to read blueprints and diagrams in order to understand the instructions given by supervisors. You should also be able to perform minor or routine maintenance on the equipment when necessary. To qualify for this role, you must have experience operating heavy equipment and a valid driver’s license.
